My name is Lisa. I’m a psychosocial therapist and personal coach based in Heemstede.
In 2017, after a career as an HR advisor and extensive retraining in psychology and psychotherapy, I started my own practice. Since then, I’ve helped over 500 clients with a wide range of issues. My approach is personal, emotion-focused, and solution-oriented. I integrate different therapeutic methods—including counselling, EMDR therapy, hypnotherapy, and Buteyko breathing therapy—depending on your unique needs.

Anxiety, phobias, and panic attacks
The goal of therapy is to help you manage your anxiety and improve your daily life and ability to handle specific situations. Together, we explore what your anxiety means to you and what you need in order to feel safe. We’ll work on changing thought patterns and habits, so you can start to create a sense of safety and calm within yourself. The number of sessions typically ranges from six to twelve. I draw on methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy, EMDR, and hypnotherapy.
Stress and burnout
If you're dealing with chronic stress or burnout, recovery is essential—but so is learning to manage stress in a healthier way. In our coaching sessions, we’ll identify the root causes of your stress, work toward restoring balance between effort and rest, and build your resilience. Most clients benefit from eight to twelve sessions. I may use approaches such as Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Buteyko Breathing Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy.
Trauma processing
Processing trauma means finding a way to remain calm and grounded when faced with reminders—people, situations, thoughts, images, sounds, or bodily sensations—linked to past experiences. Once the trauma is processed, you’ll be better able to live fully in the present and reconnect with others. Therapy typically takes eight to twelve sessions. I mainly use Emotion-Focused Therapy and EMDR therapy for this process.
Psychosomatic symptoms
When physical symptoms persist without a clear medical cause, they are often linked to emotional stress—this is known as psychosomatic pain or illness. Symptoms might include chronic pain, fatigue, muscle tension, or digestive issues such as IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). A holistic, mind-body approach is most effective here. Sessions usually range from six to twelve. I may use Emotion-Focused Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Buteyko Breathing Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy.
Career Coaching
Through career coaching, I help you gain clarity, take action, and rediscover meaning in your work by:
· Identifying what’s holding you back and how to move forward
· Finding or shaping a role that suits you better—both in content and environment
· Gaining more energy and satisfaction from your work
· Reducing work-related stress and creating a healthy balance
Most coaching processes take between eight and twelve sessions. Counselling is my primary approach here.
Workplace Bullying
Unfortunately, workplace bullying is more common than many people think. It can damage your self-esteem, lead to high stress levels, and completely drain your sense of fulfillment at work. Coaching focuses on processing your experiences, rebuilding your confidence and resilience, and creating a step-by-step plan for returning to work or moving on. Typically, eight to twelve sessions are needed. I often use Counselling, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and EMDR Therapy in this context.

€ 105 for a separate consultation of 60 minutes.
Adjusted rates apply to coaching sessions paid for by the employer.
Compensation
My consultations are (partly) reimbursed by most health insurers from the supplementary insurance for alternative care. Do inquire with your insurer yourself.
An appointment can be changed free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, and cancelled up to 48 hours before the appointment.
