A bit of background: I originally read Modern Languages at Oxford University and then worked in International Marketing and Advertising in London. Since retraining as a counsellor in 1998, I have gathered over 25 years of experience working with a large range of issues and clients. Due to living in various countries as a child and young person ("Third Culture Kid") I speak German, Dutch and Hebrew as well as English.
I have worked in many different counselling settings including seven years in GP practice, workplace counselling and addictions counselling.
I was originally trained in the person centred approach (PCT) but work integratively; using a variety of therapeutic models and techniques, always tailored to the needs and wishes of each individual client.
I have a particular interest in working with clients who are Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Tourette's and many more), whether diagnosed, self diagnosed or undiagnosed.
