Psychologist Egmond - Alkmaar - Heiloo
Welcome to my practice for (personal) guidance, EMDR and couples therapy in Egmond aan den Hoef, close to Alkmaar and Heiloo.My name is Guido. In 2004 I graduated from the Vrije Universiteit with a specialization in Clinical Psychology.
In 2005 I started in youth care in Seville (Spain), where I worked with young people with behavioral and addiction problems.
In 2010, due to a personal crisis, I came into contact with Gestalt Psychology and followed the 4-year training under Pepa Campos and Fermin Gonzalez (Jera Gestalt, Seville). I then started to delve into systemic work and family constellations, where I learned from Hylke Bonnema, Yvonne Weeber, Jan Jacob Stam, Morten Hjort and Wietske Jansen Schoonhoven.
What is central to these humanistic movements is the connection between two people; Martin Buber called this the space "dazwischen", the space in between; In my experience, this is a very fertile space in which growth and awareness can take place. You can learn so much about yourself in contact with others!
After working in SGGZ for years, I started my own practice in 2019, where I really enjoy my work.
In addition to my passion for personal development, I enjoy sports; I practiced judo and BJJ; Now I enjoy cycling and swimming! Reading, music and traveling are also part of my passion.
The last courses I completed are Systemic Work and Constellations (Yvonne Weeber, Hylke Bonnema), The Mask Maker (Phoenix courses), Transformative Breathwork (Marleen van den Hout, Annette Weers), EMDR and (IBCT) Relationship Therapy (Pieternel Dijkstra & Aerjen Tamminga). I will start the TA training in October.
